A Fiery, Fall and Soccer Senior Session Jam With Josh!

Soccer senior sessions and Fall sessions are cool, and with Josh we got both!  Josh is a legacy and soccer runs strong in his family as we found out when his brother Jake came in a few years ago, and we love this family so we knew Josh would be a good dude – he was the only one we hadn’t met yet!

Soccer Senior

We started in the studio where Josh’s mom Shari joined us for the fun!  We broke out the fire for this first pic – check it out:

Soccer SeniorSo dope.

We also have some fun behind the scenes action from that image from the Instagram Live broadcast we did:

At this point we headed out for some fall colors as they are really cool here in Michigan when the leaves start to turn… It was a pretty chilly day but as we (or at least I) say it’s ALL mental!  Lol…

Soccer Senior

Pure Michigan!  Josh looks great!

We have some more behind the scenes from that photo as well – this time from Facebook Live:

Let’s leave you with a couple more – first in a relaxed pose:

Soccer Senior

And one last photo… don’t try this one at home…hehe.

Soccer Senior

Awesome – fire, fall and a soccer senior – what could be better?  Josh is a great kid who is going to go far, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with him!

It’s Madi Madness! A Super Fun Senior Session That We “Crushed”!

So how about some Madi Madness?  Madness in a good way – as in madly great photos of a madly great girl…  What a sweetheart and her mom Teresa is a delight as well!  We actually met Madi months ago here at the studio when she popped in with our son’s buddy and current spokesmodel (and current Madi boyfriend) Josh, and we liked her instantly – she’s hard not to like.

Madi Madness

We had a game plan that focused mainly on outdoor location photos in Birmingham and we even had the pup join!  But first let’s start with just Madi with this beautiful closeup:

Madi Madness

Gorgeous!

We also have some fun behind the scenes first from the replay of our Instagram Livestream:

And here’s where the session temporarily went to the dogs – say hi to Ollie!

Madi Madness

Love a smiling pup!

At this point we headed over to downtown Birmingham where we took this classic pose by Madi’s request – and she rocked it!

Madi Madness

We fired up the live video one more time too – this time on Facebook Live:

And we’ll leave you with one more cute pose with the lamppost:

Madi Madness

Love it!  And we love Madi Madness!  We hope you loved the highlights of our day with her!

Oh wait….  our friend Aaron Norvell has a hashtag he’s promoting on Instagram called #IJustCrushed – we got in on that as a little bonus for you… hehe…

Ethan Evoked A Relaxed and Enjoyable Vibe On His Senior Session!

Yes Ethan evoked a relaxed and enjoyable vibe on his senior session!  A soft spoken and nice guy, Ethan came with his mom Jodi on a nice day with a little cloud cover for some location photos around town and we had a good time!  We hadn’t met before they came to us, but it turned out that we had plenty of mutual connections and we actually photographed Ethan’s cousins for their senior pics!

Ethan Evoked a Relaxed and Enjoyable Vibe

Before we headed outside we started in the studio for a bit and got a few formal photos – Ethan was looking sharp and that’s where we’ll start:

Ethan Evoked

Looking good!

We didn’t stay in the studio for long and now we’ll take a look at some of the location photos.  We also have a little fun behind the scenes for you from the Facebook Live replay first:

And here is one of the results!

Ethan Evoked

Just chillin’ right?  Ethan did a fine job.

Let’s look at another one against this cool looking metal surface:

Ethan Evoked

Nice.

We also have a little more behind the scenes this time with the footage from our Instagram Live:

And we’ll leave you with one more highlight from this last part of the session!

Ethan Evoked

And there you have it!  Ethan evoked a relaxed and enjoyable vibe for sure and we hope you liked the highlights of our day with him!

It’s Time For The Class of 2019 Spokesmodel Panorama…..RAMA!!!

Here we go with the Class of 2019 Spokesmodel Panorama…..RAMA!!!  We did this last year and this is just our fun way of stacking these behind the scenes iPhone panoramic photos that Doug took during our spokesmodel sessions.  There’s something cool about the way the scope of a panoramic photo can capture and distort a scene in a weird and wonderful way!  These are not “professional” photos by any stretch and are not meant to be taken too seriously, but they are a fun way to recap our last few months with our Class of 2019 crew as we head into senior season!

2019 Spokesmodel Panorama

This year’s sessions took us to the usual haunts as well as a new one or two… burned out buildings, majestic theaters, trails and parks, and of course the Frameable Faces studio!  We have such an outstanding team representing us this year for the class of 2019 and so in no particular order, here is your panorama…..RAMA!

Bring On The Class of 2019 Spokesmodel GUYS Jumping Off With Josh!

So far we have highlighted 8 – count ’em – 8 senior spokesmodel GIRLS from the upcoming class of 2019.  So now it’s time for the 2019 spokesmodel GUYS – Josh and Tony who are buds and bad dudes.  Today the focus is on Josh who is a Walled Lake Central Viking, a lacrosse player and potentially a future attorney…

We had a pretty hilarious and productive day with Josh and his mom Amy and we got some great photos indoors and on location so let’s get to ’em!

2019 Spokesmodel Guys – Josh

We started on location in the morning.  Morning sessions begin outside while the sun is lower in the sky…  Here’s a simple seated photo of our guy…

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

At this point we relocated and went live on Instagram for some behind the scenes fun!  Here’s the replay from our YouTube channel!

And here’s a close up result:

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

Back to the studio…

Now it was time to get SERIOUS….  Suit and tie time!!!  We often photograph our formal guys on the grey paper – we just like the way it looks.

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

At this point we went live again – this time on Facebook for some more behind the scenes:

And we’ll leave you with the photo that could be the consensus favorite – lol…

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

How great is that?

Josh was a great jump-off point for the class of 2019 spokesmodel guys!  We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our morning with him.  Tony will close it out next….

Crazy Stuff Happened In The NICK Of Time On NICK’s Senior Session!

Crazy stuff happened indeed on Nick’s senior session!  It’s not often that a sheriff hauls away your senior at the end of his session…. but in this case the sheriff definitely showed up in the NICK of time!  See what I did there…?  Haha!  Meanwhile this session was a family affair with both of Nick’s siblings and his mom Paola joining us!  Nick is a lucky guy – he has amazing and supportive siblings and they helped out a lot.  What a special day and Nick totally rocked his session!  Paola was a little stressed about getting the best shots but I think Ally and Nick connected and, well – you’ll see the results…

Nick’s Senior Session

We started out in the studio where we used the silver metal and black backgrounds.  Let’s start with the silver first:

Nick's Senior Session

That looks like a guy who is having fun!

We also have some fun behind the scenes action for you starting with the Facebook Live broadcast replay:

So fun!  And here’s the shot on the black with the black leather – very cool:

Nick's Senior Session

Big smiles.

At this point it was time to head to Pontiac to get some urban shots and that’s where the crazy stuff happened!  We’ll get to that…

First let’s take a look at a couple of great shots of our guy:

Nick's Senior Session

Steps…..and stairs….

Nick's Senior Session

Now here is where the crazy stuff happens!  Here’s the YouTube Live Replay where we ran into Officer Piotrowski from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, and lo and behold he gave us a police escort for our session and helped with location scouting and everything!  Just in the NICK of time!!!!

But…..

Nick still ended up in the police car.

NICK's Senior Session

Hahaha….  and here is the Snapchat story which we had to include here because it’s just too good.

So there you have it!!!  Nick’s senior session was one we will never forget that’s for sure, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day!

Alison Arrives In Style For Some Senior Pics With Us In Detroit!

It’s clear that Alison arrives in style as she did on the day of her senior session which took us all around Detroit! This included Belle Isle which we traversed and found a couple of new trails and spots there (that’s three senior posts in a row with new spots).  We also spent some time exploring Eastern Market and we even made a stop for a bite at one of Detroit’s many amazing local eateries – Parks & Rec!  So you could say we really killed it – a great day with great results!

Alison Arrives…

Alison’s mom Cindy came with us for our adventure and we had a great time!  We started on Belle Isle and our first shot is a new spot which will be known as Alison’s bridge from now on for our sessions down there!  Very cool…

Alison Arrives

We also have plenty of behind the scenes action to share – starting with a broadcast replay from Periscope!  You can download the app and be a part of our broadcasts by following us at @FrameableFaces at this link, or you can just watch from Twitter here.

After Belle Isle we headed over to the Eastern Market to hunt for some murals, abandoned buildings, and graffiti and we found a little of each!  Here’s one more broadcast this time from Facebook before we headed over there…

Over at Eastern Market we started out with this cool mural…

Alison Arrives

Love it!

We also headed back to what is becoming one of our favorite abandoned buildings down there for this photo:

Alison Arrives

Yasssssss Alison!

At this point after a pit stop at Parks & Rec for a little yummy brunch we headed back to the studio for a few more and we’ll leave you with one of those on the black background:

Alison Arrives

What a session, what a day, and what a senior!  Alison arrived in style for sure and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Getting Modernistic With Mallory On Her Senior Session!

So let me explain the title a little here….

I’m going to spill one of my huge blogging secrets here.  Sometimes I use a thesaurus for our titles if I’m stumped for a word that begins with the same letter of our senior’s name.  There – I said it.

Meanwhile, with Mallory the word I wanted to match was STYLISH because this girl has some serious style.  Sure many of our seniors do, but Mallory is a level above, and why shouldn’t she be – she has spent a lot of time working for our mall neighbors Guys N Gals so she has the fashion piece down.  Modernistic is a synonym for stylish and I kinda like it!  See what I did there?  You’ll see when you see the photos below.

Modernistic With Mallory…

So while Mallory came prepared with the killer wardrobe selection her mom Perah came along and Ally has known her for a long time – oh and Mallory and our Lacey are friends too so we knew this would be an exceptional session!  We started on location in the morning and our conditions were perfect once again so let’s get to it!  We started with natural settings:

Modernistic

She’s totes adorbs.  Notice that the girl knows how to accessorize too!

Now let’s mix in some behind the scenes fun from our day!  First with our 6 second vine for your viewing pleasure…

And next we have the first of a few live video snippets from that morning starting with a Periscope broadcast on location – if you aren’t following us on Periscope you can download the app and be a part of the shows from your smartphone here, or just watch from twitter here.

First the Quarton Lake broadcast:

And here is one more gorgeous photo of our stylish senior at the lake!

Modernistic

Beautiful!

Before we head back to the studio we have a photo to share from downtown Birmingham that we love in a spot we’ve used a handful of times, just not with this chair!

Modernistic

And here is the behind the scenes broadcast from the city…

Now let’s head back to the studio where we finished up our day with a little Detroit love and we did another quick broadcast this time on Facebook Live!

And we’ll leave you with this photo from that last part of our day here at the studio…

Modernistic

Okay how cute is she?  We had a lot of fun with Mallory and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

We Took Over Detroit With Reed On His Senior Session!

We have spent more time in Detroit this year than ever before and that’s not by accident.  Detroit has been roaring back with a comeback like we’ve never seen in our lifetime and many seniors want to have their sessions in the city.  We have become familiar with some great spots and we are still discovering new ones all the time making for some awesome outings!  Reed’s session was no exception and he’s the second guy from this family Ally has had in front of her camera!

Family Affair…

Reed’s parents Brent and Tracie came along for the day as did his younger brother Mason.  Brent and I worked together back in my corporate days so we go pretty far back – about 20 years to be exact!  So this was a fun opportunity to hang out together for a day – it turned out to be somewhat of a wild and wacky session complete with wipeouts and a traveling party that got involved (more on that later) and the weather even cooperated despite a shaky forecast!  So let’s get to it.  But first a studio shot before we head downtown…

Reed

Good looking dude – looks just like his dad too…

Reed Takes Over Detroit…

Our first stop was on Belle Isle which is definitely becoming one of our favorite spots.  Love this view of the skyline behind our guy!

Reed

We have a couple more to look at but let’s sprinkle in a little behind the scenes action… First the 6 second looping Vine that pretty much sums it all up….

Here is the replay of our Periscope broadcast from Belle Isle.  You can be a part of our broadcasts on the Periscope app with your smartphone by downloading the app and following us at @FrameableFaces here.

Here’s another photo from Belle Isle with a new spot we found with the bog in the background and a well placed American Flag!

Reed

Now here is where it gets a little crazy!  Hehe…

This next Periscope replay you’ll see where this merry band of travelers came pedaling by Comerica park where we were setting up to get a photo in front of one of the Tiger statues.  Brent went to grab my iPhone but like a botched track and field relay the handoff failed and Brent went down trying to save it…  I guess I should have known this broadcast was pegged for madness when I somehow started the broadcast without the title pasted in.  “Untitled” is probably appropriate.  Ha!

Meanwhile if you watched the whole thing you saw that the party people took a liking to Reed and wanted their own senior picture, so here it is….

Reed

Classic!!!

From there we headed over to the Dequindre Cut to wrap it up, and we broadcasted again this time on Facebook Live…

We’ll leave you with one more photo from this last part of the session…

Reed

And there you have it!  We certainly took over Detroit on this day with Reed – a session we’ll never forget and we hope you enjoyed the highlights!

Lizzie In Da Hizzie For A Fantastic Senior Session!

Yasssss Lizzie was in da hizzie for a fantastic senior session!!!  You gotta be down with the lingo to understand that but basically it means she was here – but in a much more interesting way.  And why not?  She’s a fun and anything-but-ordinary girl!  She’s cool – sharp, personable and beautiful and we really enjoyed being with her and her mom Rimma!  One by one Lizzie and the rest of her crew have come here for senior portraits and we have loved each one them!

Lizzie In Da Hizzie

Meanwhile Lizzie was ready to rock with style and fashion – she loved the camera and the camera loved her and you’ll see that in the sneak peeks we’re about to show as well as the replay of the Periscope broadcast we did in the studio.  We had a perfect day and our gameplan was studio first, Birmingham second with some pretty and some city.  Let’s start with the studio on the black background…

Lizzie

Love it!

Before we move on to the Birmingham sneak peeks let’s go behind the scenes of the shoot first with our looping 6 second vine:

Next let’s take a look at the live replay of the Periscope broadcast from the studio!  You can download the app and follow us there at this link.

As a side note we also broadcast from our location but Periscope was having issues that day – you can see that broadcast here but the volume cuts out part of the way through…

On to Birmingham

Okay let’s get back to the photos…  First at Quarton Lake for some pretty:

Lizzie

Such a pretty shot and love the backlight on her hair…..!!!

One more at Quarton Lake…

Lizzie

We are in LOVE with that one…

Okay and last but not least, to downtown Birmingham for some gritty in the city:

Lizzie

And there you have it!  Lizzie in the hizzie and owning her session like a pro!  We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her even a fraction of how much we enjoyed photographing her!
