Shamrock Rugby, A Pure Michigan Fall Day and OWEN!

If this session looks familiar to you it’s because Owen’s big bro Aiden was on this blog a couple years ago and Owen is also a Detroit Catholic Central Shamrock – except this time the sport is RUGBY!  Owen and his mom (and our longtime friend) Kelly joined us for a great time at CC as well as a little time at the studio and we got some fantastic stuff….  Let’s take a look!

Brennan brings it indeed in these highlights from his recent senior session and we aren’t surprised… We’ve been photographing this dude for pretty much his whole life going back to family pics and his bar mitzvah (photographed by our awesome event photographer Angela) along with his older sis Riley for her senior pics, and so on and so on…..so we knew this would be a great time with Brennan and his mom Monique.  We go wayyyyyyy back – they’re family really.  So let’s get to some highlights!

Fore! Fire! Fall! Fabulousness! Senior Pictures with Meredith!

Fabulousness!!!  Yep.  This senior session with Meredith had a little of everything and this girl SLAYED.  She’s a legacy Walled Lake Northern Knight for us since we photographed her big sis Meg a couple years back and we love this fam.  Mom Carolyn joined us and dad Darren was able to meet us as well for part of the session for what was a PERFECT October day for being outside photographing.

Next we have FALL!  There is always a short window to get this one bush that “burns” for a short while each Fall and we got it for that Pure Michigan feel with our girl:

Our one regret for this post is that we couldn’t find a good word for books, reading, or library that starts with “F” lol…  But the photo in and of itself makes up for it just FINE.  Hehe…see what we did there?

Noah’s Nifty Senior Pictures In The Heart Of Detroit!

We are psyched to present these highlights of Noah’s Nifty Senior Session in the heart of Detroit!!!  What a great kid, and we had a fantastic time in the D on a perfect day with Noah, his mom Lauren and her boyfriend Corey.  We even hit a spot or two we didn’t know about which is always cool for us.  Obviously there are tons of spots in Detroit.  So let’s get to the pics of this class of 2024 Frankel Jewish Academy Jaguar!

Fiery Antics With Anthony and More on His Spokesmodel Session!

Bringing home the class of 2024 senior spokesmodel crew with the dudes!  Anthony crushed it – you might even say he was on FIRE!!!  We weren’t surprised – Anthony is a great kid and we go wayyyyyy back with his parents.  His dad John and Doug were football teammates at Michigan so we’re talking 35 years…  pretty surreal to have Anthony here representing the Catholic Central Shamrocks for our spokesmodel team!  His mom Lynne joined us at the studio for these epic photos – let’s get to them…

Anthony is a student athlete and he works hard at his craft whether on the gridiron or in the shot put and discus circles (and especially in the weight room) and we wanted to capture that grit and badassery so….

Ryan Rocks His Senior Pictures Which Had A Little Of Everything!

Ryan rocks – what a great kid!  We went to high school with his mom Missy and we had a blast with them along with dad Jon on a cold snowy day in Detroit, along with some pics back at the studio and the finale in the Clarkston Wolves hockey team locker room!  Plenty of laughs, and as the title suggests, this session had a little of everything – even Barley their Bernese Mountain Dog!  So let’s get to the highlights!

In A Pure Michigan Mood With Merrick For Senior Pictures!

We love being in a Pure Michigan Mood – when the fall colors are in full swing and we have a fun senior to photograph?  It doesn’t get much better than that, and Merrick brought his A game!  Merrick has been in front of Ally’s camera several times now going back to when he was little, and most recently as a senior spokesmodel for the class of 2023!  We headed out on a brisk fall day for this session and got some great stuff – check out these highlights!

At this point we planned to get a couple on the track since Merrick is a runner (he comes from a long line of runners) and all around great athlete!  We got some snow flurries which we used to great effect on this next one.  Merrick’s mom Melissa joined us for this series on location and we had a few laughs!  Merrick is a total badass…

Carly Takes Over The Studio For Carly Ann Fit Fitness Photos!

Carly is awesome.  We are so impressed with this young lady and we’re not surprised since we’ve known her parents for decades – I grew up with her mom and played high school football and ran track with her dad so it was a little surreal having her here ready to launch her coaching business Carly Ann Fit to the next level with some fresh new fitness photos!

Aiden Is The Man And His Senior Picture Session (Sham)Rocked!

Aiden came to us by way of his mom Kelly whom we’ve known for many years – I (Doug) worked with Kelly and we were in the M.B.A. program at Wayne State together!  We’ve been friends a long time and it was really cool to hang with her and her son for his senior pics!  Aiden is a Catholic Central Shamrock – a football player and shot put / discus thrower for the track team – just a great kid (not that I’m surprised)!!!  We had a pretty neat game plan for him including some studio work, some FIRE, and some location photos at the CC campus, so let’s get to some highlights!
