Ashley and Dana are stunning sibs indeed and they are roommates too! We photographed them at home in their first house recently and we had so much fun with them – new friends! They are delightful and we had a lot of laughs. They included their kitty Chris in a couple of the pics and we did a little casual as well as a little formal – excited to show these off!
We started off with the casual in the living room with Chris!
They are adorable! Oh and Chris says meow.
One more playful one in the living room:
One more casual by the front door…
At this point the girls changed into something a little more formal and we have some fun behind the scenes from Facebook LIVE:
Fun right? And here’s one of the STUNNING results!
Just beautiful girls….
And there you have it – stunning sibs indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with them!
Okay this is a fantastic crew. Bensson just popped in one day and said he wants to get some family photos and we are so glad he did! His in-laws were in town so we were able to get the kids but with three total generations which is always really special. Everyone looked great and did a fantastic job and the kids were SO CUTE! Let’s get to the pics:
In a session like this you generally start with the most important photo because you never quite know exactly how long the little ones might last, so we started with the entire group and we used our blue / grey mottled backdrop:
Next we just did the unit of 6…
We also have a little bit of behind the scenes fun from Snapchat…
And now let’s highlight each of the kids! First the dudes….
How awesome is he with the bowtie?
Now the girls!
And last but not least…
Such a fantastic crew! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our morning with them!
Jayden and Jaxon are total characters and they came back to the studio for some pics with their mommy Marla! It had been a while since they had been here so we were excited to have them back and boy are they growing up!
We kept this session pretty simple with white shirts and jeans on these dudes with the white backdrop and we’ll start with a little brotherly love!
We also had some fun with some behind the scenes first on Facebook Live:
Now let’s give each of these guys their own turn in the spotlight:
First big brother Jayden:
What a big man!
Next it’s little brother Jaxon!
Great smile on that guy!
We also have some more behind the scenes fun from Instagram when Marla jumped in for a few with her boyz!
Miss Cheryl is one of our faves and she’s known by that name to many in the community from nursery school days when she taught so many children including ours! So when Cheryl called to say she wanted to bring her crew in we were so excited! Everybody did a great job and we were able to capture some fantastic photos – memories that will last them a lifetime!
We kept this pretty simple with the white backdrop – a nice clean and contemporary look…
Such great expressions – a happy crew!
Just the grandparents with the grandkids… such a classic photo!
And now a couple with the family units…
Adorable!!! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of the family fun! It was a delight having them here!
Okay what a fun family we have here… Just so delightful. Say hello to Giacomo, Stephanie, Lorelai……..and Lulu. Lol – Lulu the pup is hilarious – she did NOT like Doug. Like at all, but she still posed for Ally and that was the important thing and we all had a good laugh about it too! We had a lot of fun with these peeps.
Giacomo, Stephanie, Lorelai, and Lulu!
We spent part of a Saturday here at the studio with these folks and let’s get to a few highlights. We started off with some fun family photos on the white background and this first one is hilarious – everyone is smiling / laughing because Lulu was barking at Doug while he was trying to help Ally and get Lulu’s attention. So funny!
We also have some behind the scenes from the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
After that series we moved to the black backdrop for some individual / couple images.
Here’s a fabulous one of Lorelai by herself:
And here’s one of Lorelai together with Lulu!
How great is that one?
We’ll leave you with this really nice one of Giacomo and Stephanie together…
Such a happy couple and a happy day!
We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with this fabulous and Frameable Fam!
We love when our peeps have growing families and they bring them in for updated photos – we love to be a part of these special moments and to catch up! Jen has 5 children now including two “newer additions” and 2 of the five have been on our blog before – Emily for senior pictures and Noah for pictures with his grandmas! So getting them all here together was really fun. They actually came to the mall for breakfast with Santa (a mall event where we took pictures for everyone with Santa and Mrs. Claus) and then back to the studio for their own session, ultimately including all of it on their custom holiday cards!
Familiar and Frameable
Let’s start with Santa:
Breakfast with Santa here at the mall is always so much fun! Samuel and Noah had a blast and we hope they got what they asked for!
Now back at the studio we have pictures first of the girls and then of the boys…
Sarah and Emily are such beauties inside and out!
Next it’s the dudes:
Adam looks pretty happy to be with his two little brothers!
We also have some fun behind the scenes from Facebook Live!
And we’ll finish with the whole family with Jen and Andrew getting into the picture!
And there you go – what a crew! Familiar faces make us happy and we hope you enjoyed the highlights!
Jaime was here years ago with her first born when she was a baby and then again with her middle child, and she called us to say she wanted to bring everything full circle with a family session of her, her hubby, and her THREE kids before they move across the state! We love reconnecting with our Frameable families and seeing how they’ve grown, and this was a nice poignant moment to capture with a last hurrah session in Northville before they start their new chapter!
Last Hurrah Session In Northville!
We went to a park the kids have played in many many times and we started with them pushing this big spinning rock – just having fun!
Of course we have a little bit of fun behind the scenes from the Snapchat story from the day…
Now let’s take a look at a few more of the whole fam…
What a crew!
We like the composition of this next scene framing the family…
Such a lovely scene!
And there you have it! A really nice last hurrah session before the move and we wish them the very best in their new ‘hood!!!

Alexandria Adorable just sums it up. What a cute little smushy baby with a TON of personality at such a young age! We don’t usually expect to get smiles like we did at 2 months but Alexandria is already ahead of her time, and her parents La Shawn and Aaron are just delightful. We had a great time with them and Alexandria couldn’t have been easier to work with. No crying, no meltdowns – a total pro at 2 months!
So let’s get to some highlights shall we? We’ll start on the orange chair:
She’s SO CUTE!!!
We also have some fun behind the scenes from the session – first with the replay of the Facebook Live livestream:
At one point Alexandria decided to take a little snooze – like an angel….
La Shawn and Aaron got into the act a little as well for a few family portraits and we have some more behind the scenes of that with the raw video replay from the Instagram Live:
And here is a really nice one of the three of them…
Lots of love in that photo!
We’ll leave you with one more of Miss Alexandria being all pretty in pink:
And there you have it! Alexandria Adorable indeed. We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with them!
The Stones are legends here – a classic Frameable family! For starters Cheyenne and Sierra were both seniors here, with a stunning plexiglass of Cheyenne still hanging in the studio and Sierra having represented us as a spokesmodel for the class of 2013 (she’s the first one in this post from back then). Through working with them we’ve become friends and while Cheyenne and Sierra have graduated college and moved to different states we’ve remained close with their parents Beth and Sheldon back here in Michigan. So this year we conspired with the girls along with Sheldon to have them both fly home and surprise Beth for a family session for Mother’s Day here at the studio! It was kind of funny because we had been out with Beth and Sheldon the week before and Sierra called while we were with them and everyone was saying “one of these days” they’ll have to get in to do a family session. Beth had no clue – it was awesome….
A Mother’s Day Surprise
We were so excited – plus we miss the girls – we love them! They came to the studio with Wrigley the pup they rescued here at the mall from one of the Detroit Dog Rescue events we have from time to time. What a blast we had! Let’s take a look at a few highlights:
We also have plenty of fun behind the scenes action – first with the livestream replay from Facebook Live:
A Classic Frameable Family
Once we got a few of those photos finished we started to switch it up a little – all the different combos – and we love the ones with Beth and the girls and Sheldon with the girls:
And how fun is this one of Sheldon with the daddy’s girls…
We’ll leave you with this a-MAIZE-ing family portrait….
And there you have it – a classic Frameable family indeed and such a fun time for us to be with them again! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of their session!
