Spartan Grads of the Class of 2022 – Sparty On Girls!

This crew of Spartan Grads were a total blast to photograph on a perfect day in East Lansing!!!  Two of them we had photographed before – Marlee for headshots and Lilly was a Frameable Faces senior!  The rest of their pals were delightful and it was a fantastic day, so let’s get to a few highlights!

Friends forever!  We were really impressed with this crew getting to know them and their plans for the future – we wish them all the best – Spartans Will!  A huge accomplishment for each of them that was not without its share of adversity and we salute them.  We were honored to be a part of this day with them and we hope you enjoyed the highlights!

Haven Returns As A College Grad & A CHEF With Friends & Fam!

Okay we LOVE Haven.  Some of our seniors kinda become our “extra kids” over the years and Haven is one of them so whenever Haven returns it makes us happy.  We love her and her family!  Haven along with her sister Jubilee were both spokesmodels for us back in the day and it’s great when seniors come back for college grad portraits!  Haven is now a chef and she came in for some pics with a few of her peeps and members of the family!

As a side note we went live on Facebook TWICE to stream some behind the scenes and both times the footage disappeared from Facebook when we finished.  GRRR….  Oh well, the photos tell the story!  We’ll include an extra one to make up for it!  Here’s another one of just Haven with cap and gown in the studio on the simple white backdrop…

At this point we headed to Haven’s home to get a few outdoors and this one is so cool – you see, Haven, Jubilee AND mom Beverly have all received degrees pretty recently, so we had them all together in caps and gowns and tossing the caps!

It’s Great To Be A Michigan Wolverine For These U of M Grads Of The Class of 2021!

We had an incredible day in Ann Arbor with our Lacey and 15 of her housemates who are all graduating this Spring from the University of Michigan!  We have photographed high school seniors up on campus before but this was a first for us and we have two more groups coming up for sessions just like this one!

Meanwhile these girls and this graduating class as a whole has been through plenty with the pandemic.  Lots of uncertainty, lots of virtual classes, lots of adapting and overcoming, and as you’ll see because it comes through in these photos, they did just that.  They are all proud and resilient Wolverines and we’re especially proud to call our Lacey one of them – especially one of this crew!  This was a real treat for us to spend the day with them capturing them in their caps and gowns and their maize and blue!  A day we’ll never forget, and we have the fun highlights here for you!  GO BLUE!

We started at the Law Quad which is a very popular spot for obvious reasons – the architecture and the whole look is spectacular.

Okay at this point we headed over to Michigan Stadium after a change of outfits for a few pics and some fun at the Big House!
