LET’S GOOOOO! We are pumped to kick off a new crew for a new class and we are thrilled to have Noa on our team! We first met Noa at the bus stop for a Tamarack Camps trip that our son Tony was a counselor for, and Tony said great things about her. He was spot on.
This is the time that we start planning for the upcoming senior season, and we always incorporate new elements and try new things with each year so this is a ton of fun for us – more to come on that. Noa’s mom Janet is also a delight and she joined us at the studio for part of the session. We had a pretty nice day so we were able to get down to Detroit for some outdoor photos as well, so let’s get to a few highlights.
Noa Leads The Way

YES!!!
Love the simple grey backdrop on a closeup – but we have plenty of options here at the studio and we always go over them with our seniors ahead of the session in a consultation.
The “black and blowy” look is timeless and we doubt we’ll ever “retire” this look. It’s still popular and we suspect it always will be. Noa’s hair was perfect for it too! We also want to give a shoutout to Francie Fruitman on makeup – she’s one of our recommended artists and she did a great job on Noa!
A backdrop and an outfit change later, we’ve got Noa with pink on pink and we think these setups are underrated! Typically we probably spend 2/3rds on location and 1/3rd in studio and our seniors wear a minimum of 4 outfits on a 3 hour session.
And by the way…..
Yes we did a TikTok. We had gotten away from TikTok and Noa has us back in – we love this girl. The following would not have happened without her:
