It’s The Thrill Of (Photographing) The Chase(s)!!!

Yep it’s the thrill of the Chase (s)!!!!!  We are big fans of this fam and Jordan was a spokesmodel for us a few years back so it was a thrill indeed to get them back to the studio for some delightful family portraits and they brought Gizmo the pup!  Gizmo is awesome.  Let’s get to some highlights!

Baila Is BAE-LA! Spokesmodeling In The Studio for 2025!

We are so happy to have Baila on our team!!!  She just fit right in – personality to burn.  And she’s just nice.  And fun. And athletic, and smart and all around adorable, and we had a lot of fun with some new setups in the studio for the upcoming senior class of 2025!  We’ve known Baila’s dad Steve for some time and once we sat down with them to strategize we knew this was going to be a blast.  Let’s get to some highlights shall we?

Love that full length with the black and white split background – that’s a new one here!

We also have some fun behind the scenes from Facebook where we find out what Baila’s favorite ice cream flavor is (that’s a pretty important topic we usually cover in these).  Haha!

Next we went with the black backdrop – these always look great and Baila crushed it.

Gorgeous!  Baila is very comfortable in front of the camera but no senior should ever feel intimidated by the camera – Ally can help – that’s what we’re great at!

Time for another outfit change and that’s also a must – our seniors can change outfits for different looks during their 3 hour sessions as often as they like!

Spokesmodeling With Sophie in The Sity (Okay fine the City)!

If you’ve followed this blog long enough you know we are very alliterative around here…  The “triple s” title for this one was too hard to pass up with our Raider Representative Sophie!!!  North Farmington Raiders that is which WE are as well, and we are heads over heels for this adorable ball of energy and aspiring tattoo artist from the upcoming senior class of 2025!  We’ve actually known Sophie for most of her life so her mom Carrie gave her to us for the day and what a day!  We hung out, laughed a ton, ate, and oh – we took some photos too.  Some AMAZING photos.  We’ve got a lot to look forward to for this upcoming class if our spokesmodel crew is any indicator so far.  Let’s get to the pics!

To be clear we go into every senior session with a strategy – we have a consultation with our seniors before every session, and while our spokesmodel sessions tend to be our time to experiment with new locations and techniques we don’t always know when we’ll come across an open suitcase in a vintage store that our fun-sized senior will fit in so perfectly!  Hehe…. this photo is everything.

Teresa’s Triumphant Trio: Senior Portraits in Studio, at the Library, and Outdoors!

Teresa’s Senior Session was a “triumphant trio” of studio, outdoors and at the library!  We’ve photographed a few seniors at the library now and they are so much fun – partly because if a senior is into books then we have a lot to talk about because so are we!  Teresa was no exception – what a delight – smart, funny, adorable – all the things!  And this girl loves history which is Doug’s language.  A class of 2024 senior from Canton Prep, Teresa and her mom Ugochi joined us for quite the enjoyable day – let’s get to the highlights!

Allie Leads The Way For The Class Of 2025 Spokesmodels!

Wow…. we’re coming up on a quarter of the way into the 21st century and this new crew of spokesmodels WILL be one we are honored to have on our team – starting with Allie representing Frankel Jewish Academy!  Ally babysat Allie’s mom so things continue to come full circle here at Frameable Faces!

We love our spokesmodels and Allie is awesome – adorable, smart, funny, outgoing – we love her!  And her parents Jenny & Ron are pretty okay too – Jenny joined us at the studio for Allie’s spokesmodel session where we brought out a few brand new setups along with a couple of our tried and true favorites!  Let’s take a look!

Love the green on green!  The on location photos typically have the overall edge in terms of the percentage that we take of our seniors, but our studio work is so much fun and we’ve been experimenting with some lighting techniques and some new equipment!  We picked up a few tricks in Louisville at Imaging USA last month that we’re darn excited for, and our seniors get to choose studio AND location photos so it’s very common for us to do a little of both even if it’s 1/3rd studio and 2/3rds location.  Any mix is up to the senior and we plan that out in a consultation ahead of time!

Love it!  Also want to give a shout out to Lisa North of NorthStar Luxe for the wonderful job on Allie’s hair and makeup!  Lisa will be one of our choices for makeup this year – she’s awesome.

We’ll leave you with one more outfit change – outfit changes are a must!  We actually allow as many as you like in our three hour sessions!  The sweet spot is usually around 4-5 give or take.

So there you have it!  We are HYPED.  Allie was the perfect spokesmodel to kick it off and we can’t wait to photograph her for her senior pics – we’ve always loved photographing Allie – here’s proof (she’s the older sis):

An Artistic Approach To Senior Pictures With Amara!

An artistic approach is indeed what we took with Amara for her senior pictures and it turned into a really special session!  Amara is a soft-spoken sweetheart, she’s a North Farmington Raider just like us and she looked adorable among the art at Danielle Peleg Art Gallery!  We’ve known the Pelegs for a long long time and they have done an amazing job with their gallery in Keego Harbor on Orchard Lake Road.  We are so thankful to them for the use of their gallery for Amara’s session and we love when seniors have ideas like this for their session!  We were joined by her dad Michael and her mom Yarisha for these incredible portraits – let’s get to them!

DUDE…..Drake Is Da Man. We Love This Kid And His Senior Pics!

If you know you know with this kid.  He’s funny – we had a blast with him!  His grandmother actually set this up and came to the session for the studio part with her sister and then his parents came to the studio to go through the results.  They are ALL a hoot.  And frankly we can say this here that senior pictures were not really on Drake’s radar going into this, but he absolutely had fun and we laughed plenty with this class of 2024 Waterford Mott Corsair!  Let’s get to the highlights!

Jonah Makes His Return To The Blog For Senior Pictures!

Jonah makes his return to the blog and we’re pretty pleased to present these highlights of this dude.  Jonah has been a fine representative of the class of 2024 for our studio as a spokesmodel and we were excited to get this West Bloomfield Laker in front of Ally’s camera again.  This time we photographed at a private location and it was soooooo cool.  We don’t have livestream behind the scenes for that reason, but we ain’t mad about it.  Not even a little – we had a great time with Jonah and his parents Wendy and Howard and the results rock!  Let’s get to it.
