Ellory Was Ready For Good Vibes And Her Modeling Closeup!

Ellory came to the studio this week with her mom Jodi for some good vibes, her modeling closeup and some fun!  We definitely got all three.  What a sharp and adorable girl she is and we really had a blast so let’s take a look at some highlights!

We photographed the whole session on the black backdrop but with a few different styles and we’ll start with some Good Vibes right off the bat!

The laughing photo is a fun one to set the stage – this girl couldn’t keep the SERIOUS pose for too long without just a little giggling.

We also have some fun behind the scenes on this too but for whatever reason I’ve been struggling with the audio and covering the mic when we go live on Instagram.  No idea why….  we’ve been livestreaming on Periscope and other platforms for 3 years with no problem but for some reason we’re a little snake bitten on Instagram.  BUT – in this case it’s kind of funny…. if you watch at the 48 second mark I ask Ellory what she wants to do with her life and her reaction is priceless.  First I played around with her acting shocked that she didn’t know, and then I let her off the hook telling her I didn’t know until less than 10 years ago.  It’s pretty cute.

Let’s also give a shout out to Valoria at The Beauty Lounge for Ellory’s hair – that’s Valoria making an appearance in the livestream too.

We Love When Three Generations Get Together For Family Portraits!

Tricia and her hubby came in from Texas and brought in the whole crew for this session and it was a blast – a whole gaggle of little cousins running around and lots of laughter in the studio!  Gotta love when three generations get together for family portraits and we certainly love these results.  Let’s take a look:

Aubrey Is Back, She’s One and She Is Super Delicious!

Yes Aubrey is back!  She’s our event photographer Angela (AKA “Nikon Girl”)’s baby, she’s one and she is super delicious!!!  You may remember her newborn session from last year and the video birth story Ally created at the hospital when Aubrey was born.  Meanwhile she’s growing up and while at first we thought she was all Cam (her daddy), now we’re starting to see a lot of Angela in her too!

Just About The Sweetest Sibling Session You Will See!

We had just about the sweetest sibling session here at the studio on the occasion of the youngest’s 6 month milestone and these three were so fun!!!  Mom Ashley has been here with hubby Chris and the kids before but this was Enzo’s first appearance with older sibs Lucca & Sylla together and there was definitely more magic this time around…

This Was A Fun and Fabulous Frameable Family of 6!

Sometimes life happens – things get crazy, you’re raising kids and it’s the glorious chaos of life, right?  Heba is a perfect example of this with the story of this session – first let’s just say at the end of the day she has 4 amazing kids and just an overall fabulous Frameable family!  4 kids ranging from 15 to 3 – which we know ain’t always easy, but judging by the results we have to give it up to her and Vinny – they are pulling it off in style.  Meanwhile Heba stopped in here a year ago to plan a family session and then it didn’t happen – like the first sentence I typed above life happened!  We had almost forgotten about her – almost.  But when she popped back in with a huge friendly smile asking “remember me?” I absolutely did and we were thrilled that she came back!  Her little man was turning 3 and the timing was good for them to get this scheduled.  So without further adieu let’s take a look – we’re going to present these a little differently than we usually would because we LOVE the 4 close ups of the children which Heba will be displaying in her home along with the family portrait!

Let’s start with the traditional family portrait – what a gorgeous crew.  The little guy and I bonded – we were giving each other “two thumbs up” to get ready for each shot and he was a total pro – and I gotta tell you, not all 3 year olds are the easiest to photograph, but we usually can get it done and with this little one there was no problem.

Shaista Brings Back The Whole Crew and They’re Growing UP!!!

We get excited when Shaista brings back the whole crew!  We started photographing her kids shortly after we opened our studio space here in the Orchard Mall and they are just an awesome family – great kids and much fun to have around.  The wrinkle this time was that Shaista brought her husband Shabbir to get the whole family in the photos!  There’s a little story here – we’ve known Shaista and the kids for years but we never met Shabbir before so the running joke was that he wasn’t real – that we didn’t believe he existed.  Haha!  Well we can now say he does indeed exist and he’s as delightful as we would have expected.  I joked with him that we thought he was a phantom and he replied “Hey I was out working hard for these guys!”  Now that’s a good guy.  So without further adieu let’s take a look at some sneak peeks of this fabulous session!

Nelma and Her Fabulous Fam Represents Frameable Nation In Pensacola!

NELLLLLLLLLMAAAAAA!!!  Okay we need to explain.  We met Nelma through Periscope and we’ve known her for quite some time now.  We both used to host game shows on a network called “Play For Stuff”, were hanging out in the same circles in the Periscope community and we have consequently spent plenty of time in each other’s broadcasts.  Nelma actually named our living room in the studio “the parlor” and one of our couches is named for her too………..and she’s never actually set foot in our studio.  She lives in Pensacola, Florida with her husband Alfie and their adorable daughter Lydia.  That just speaks to the amazing madness that is Periscope, and we have no idea how this piece started but anytime Nelma jumps into one of our broadcasts she’s greeted with “NELLLLLLMAAAAA!!!” by the two of us in unison.

So eventually as we’ve documented here we got the idea to plan a road trip for Spring Break that would include photo sessions since we are asked quite often if we would travel to do them.  The Frameable Faces Spring Tour started to take shape and when we said we were coming south to Florida, Nelma said “sign me up”!  We were so excited to finally meet her and to photograph her family!  We met in downtown Pensacola on the back end of a drive all the way up the state from Del Ray just in time for great light and really nice conditions at Plaza Ferdinand VII in the center of town!

Neil Is Back, He’s Two, And He’s Still Pretty Darn Cute!

Neil was pretty darn cute when he was here as a little bitty baby, and – no surprise – he’s still pretty darn cute as a two year old!  He came back to the studio with his minions even though it was him who was dressed as one!  Haha…  Parmesh and Nalini are great – we laugh quite a bit when we’re together here in the studio and we had another winning session this time around with different outfits, plenty of toys and plenty of food too!

With Sophia We Think We’ll Rename The Age The “Treasured Twos”!

You’ve heard of the “terrible twos”?  Not even close – Sophia is clearly one of the “treasured twos”!!!  So adorable, plenty of personality and a little superstar in front of Ally’s camera when she came to the studio for her photo session with her delightful mom Michele!  We photographed her exclusively indoors here at the studio and we think you’ll melt when you see these photos!

We Are Posting This ‘Cuz We Love Photographing Cousins!

It is so nice when cousins are around the same age and enjoy hanging around with each other, and it makes photographing cousins a joy!  This was definitely the case with the crew we’re about to show you.  We have had half of them (the local half) in the studio before around Halloween time for photos, but the other half live out of town so we hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting them before.  They are a beautiful bunch and they belong to one of our mall neighbors – they are Nancy’s grandchildren from across the hall at Nancy’s Linens!  And talk about prepared kids….they were coordinated nicely with the clothes and they had plenty to say about what photos and poses they had planned for their photo session!  There was even a written out list involved!

We did this session on location at the house of the “local crew” and we did a few rounds of individual photos, sibling group shots and group shots of the whole squad!  The conditions were just perfect that morning for a photo session.  Let’s start with the siblings…

The goal here was to have some fun and not get too formal – just to get some photos of kids being kids and cousins being cousins and the swing set was a perfect prop to get everyone into place!  We love this last one we’ll leave you with with the youngest of the group on the oldest’s shoulders….  Everyone looks fantastic!
